Comment by AceWhatever August 28, 2008 @ 3:13 pmBefore start spreading that release date stuff how about sending an email to validate that info? I actually did send an email yesterday and the answer confirms that the release date should be 25.
I’ve heard of them shipping items before the actual release date but that was by 1 or 2 days max, not 14 days.
Anyway, this is just an observation towards whoever posted that release date on 11 stuff, since regarding Play-Asia the only thing I have to say, as a customer, is that their services are highly recommended.

But there seems to be 2 different cut-ins though.
Both Sochie Heim(Turn A) and Sara(King Gainer)’s cut-in during Formation attacks and normal attacks were different.

Comment by lunar2 August 29, 2008 @ 6:51 pmيا شباب بالعقل شوي. إن عدد المسلسلات في الثماني و عشرين لعبة على اثني عشر جهاز متفاوتين في الإمكانيات لا يتجاوز 20-25 ما عدا ألفا 1 و ألفا 3 التا هما الاستثناء و ليس القاعدة. هذا الجزء الجديد ليس فيه سوا عشرون مسلسلا و ليس فقط بسبب سعة الدي في دي. الموازنة في القصة بين عشرات المسلسلات ليس بالأمر السهل، بالإضافة إلى تنسيق السيناريو و الحوار و تسجيل الأصوات و رسم الرسوم المتحركة بجميع تفاصيلها. عدا عن أن الميزانية المخصصة لترخيص المسلسلات للظهور في اللعبة له حد معين. صحيح أن السلسلة لها شعبية كبيرة و لكن هذا لا يعني أنها تباع بالملايين مثل فاينال فانتاسي و دراغون كويست مثلا.
فيا إخواني التمني شيء جميل و لكن ليس على حساب البعد عن الواقعية.

Contrarily to Brain Powered, the fans of Tomino have a good consideration of Overman KingGainer.
Second…
It’s definitively impossible to please all fan with with their preferences.
I don’t like Gundam X, but there are persons that adore it, and banpresto tries to vary the list for differentiate the games.
After six games with mazinkaiser, i think that the world will not end if they do not use it this time.
To bad for the fans.
Gundam X, Turn A, Big 0 ( Good one) , Orgus are rare in SRW games, so enjoy the occasion.

Would it kill them to upgrade great mazinger? Would it kill them to upgrade grandizer? Would it be so unbearable in shin getter is replace with Shin “Black” Getter?
Remember that mazinkaiser and shin getter were both designed for SRW. What about the Gundams, Hi-neo Gundam was also designed for SRW. SO they can be creative, but choose not to be.
This is what Banpresto needs to change. Add to that some nice anime cut scenes for the originals story line and everyone will look at this with new eyes and without judgment.

The only licensed robot Banpresto designed specifically for SRW was Mazinkaiser (Shin Getter appeared in a Getter Robo manga before appearing in the games).
Hi-Nu Gundam and other Gundams not seen in the anime come from various Gundam manga and novels or artbooks made by the mecha designers. They were not designed specifically for SRW.

Comment by judo0054 August 31, 2008 @ 1:46 pmOrwah, they can’t put Gurren Lagann in SRW because the license for Gurren Lagann games is held by Konami right now. And when they began production on SRWZ, Gurren Lagann was pretty much in the middle of airing.
And they didn’t put EVA in it because it didn’t fit the story. I doubt we’ll see EVA in SRW again until Rebuild of Evangelion is over anyway. Honestly I’d rather see Rebuild of Evangelion in SRW… as long as it fit the story.
And if you don’t like Overman King Gainer, too bad, suck it up. It’s a mecha series and it belongs in SRW. That’s like complaining about Gundam or Aura Battler Dunbine being in SRW.

i respect tomino’s work very much but what i was pointing to is that it is painful to put Overman King Gainer in a game such as SRW because he is not even a super robot.

Every time that banpresto uses a robot, they must pay something.
Currently it’s a likeable idea, but impraticabile because there are too many robots and to many fans to please.

SRW is not made for occidental people.
Is for Japanese, so we do not have voice for decides what is right.
I and you count count less than zero for banpresto.
If they put Ultraman in, it means that there are fans that demand it.
Fortunately, Ultraman is mostly a brand for very young children, not the same as anime fans like gundam.
In any case, what I find boring is the capricious tone that you have to pretend the robots that you want.

Banpresto has already done that. They called it Super Tokusatsu War. It had Kamen Riders, Ultraman, and a bunch of other metal heroes I don’t recall at the moment.
SRW is a Japanese game made for Japanese fans. You can jump up and down all you want and hold your breath until you turn red, SRW will never be made for you, because you aren’t Japanese no matter how much you want to be. And nothing you write here will change anything about how Banpresto does things.

I agree with Mo’nes, as crappy as they are as anime maybe the comedy in watching gainer’s enemies whip him to death will be fun. I’ll also try to give Turn A (CRAP) the benefit of the doubt. lets keep our hopes up, especially for the originals and their upgrade (God I hope they are good)
