Secret of Seravee Gundam…?

This was a nice custom of the 1/144 kit. This is probably going to be what the secret form is though.

that’s much wierder than i was expecting. very skinny, and kind of creepy. The whole gundam face on Saravee’s back was already creepy anyhow. I was hoping for a return of the Nadleeh, but oh well.

it was pretty obvious that the cannons became arms (esp after episode 9) and the lower bit became legs (from previous robot damashii mockups)… what’s weird about this custom is that he didn’t close the face and there’s no head. not to mention, it’s still hanging on the back. i hope there’s some gn archer type head or something

That’s not another Gundam, it’s either a parasitic twin or a tumor growing out of the Seravee’s back.

This gig is nothing new in the world of Gundam as I have seen this move before in an SD Gundam Knight: Dragon Saint Warrior where there is a unit called the Gemini Gundam Knight which can switch forms front and back. Even Blackout of the Decepticons carries Scorponok on his back like that. Pathetic

Yanase is really an embarrassment in his line as a professional mecha designer, how can he proves himself a role-model for aspiring mecha designers with sub-par works? Even the Transformers artists from IDW are a lot more better than him.

I still believe that this new MS can detach from Seravee, else the legs won’t make much sense other than to kick the enemies coming in from behind. XD

Also, I notice the huge side skirt armors of Seravee seem to be foldable or something – not possible for the HG plamo ver., but there seems to be some function of it yet to be revealed too.

Similarity in concept perhaps isn’t something avoidable, its hard to create things that absolutely new & original in this time, even Katoki repeatedly using the same transformation (you know the standard Zeta Transformation?) over and over (R-1,Art-1,Delta Gundam), evenmore his Ankusha MA form is so much look alike Abyss, but to me Katoki and Yanase still the pride of mecha designing

I wonder, maybe the face isn’t large gundam face is also the backpack, not the chest of the support unit. The waist area needs only to swivel 180 degrees to change its orientation.

I’m still unclear about where or in what form the GN drive core is on Seravee. If it is the large face, wouldn’t a support unit that could detach deprive Seravee of a GN drive? What does the backpack for the support unit look like & what’s the function? Perhaps it resembles the pie-shaped GN drive port seen on GN Sefer or GN Arms.

Another thing. If the face is on the backpack/backside of the support unit, that would allow the manipulators on the top set of arm/cannons to point the same way as the other arms in front (palms in, not palms outward).

Or…Seravee will fold up into a nice, compact backpack like a rocklord.

The most important is “just because the concept is already exist does it means a mecha designer loose the right to re-use the concept?” what if they able to create the concept without knowing that the concept already exist? does it means that they’re imaginations are fake? I believe NO, every mecha designer have the right to draw the mecha that born from their imagination

Umm… Gurren Lagann goes into Gundam 00 xDD So, Tieria will be the pilot of the head and other gundams will combine into the body of the mech xD

People need to remember that this is only a mod of the 1/144 HG Seravee: You can still see the polycaps on the thing. The only merchandise confirmed to have Seravee’s secret is the HCM-Pro and the Robot Damashii that comes out this month.

I dunno. I always just figured the Seravee attached itself to the ship to form a giant Gundam. The Ship already looks kinda like it has two legs.

I’m thinking this is a mod, The “arms” in the picture on the right aren’t retracted, suggesting that they can’t retract after the mod or it was forgotten.
I at first thought this was the Robot Soul version because of the way the painting looks, But I’m not sure if they are compatible with action bases. The 1/144 Seravee however, is definitely compatible. The joint for the knee is too thin, It looks like it’s cut from the model’s vents. The vents for the robot soul version also looks different.

Robot soul Seravee hasn’t been released and could be subject to change, but
I guess the only way to know for sure right now is to wait it out.

I still think it’s a mod though. =D

Hmm…there’s always the possibility that the “main camera” of the large Gundam head can pop-up and give this thing a Leo (from Gundam Wing) style head. It’s definitely unique-looking. I would’ve rather had a spiffy looking Nadleeh MKII, but this could turn out to be pretty cool in its own way. We’ll just have to wait and see how exactly it works in the show.

Looks like something more suited for Hallelujah’s dual personality. I was expecting something along the lines of G Gundam’s Devil Gundam (Mobile Fighter Mode) or combine with a large mobile armor like the GN Arms and turn into a behemoth like the Psycho Gundam.

….and I don’t understand how his works are sub-par, they’re a lot more refreshing than Seeds, especially since Kunio’s been throwing out stale work lately =\

I agree with you Ixs, frankly, I think the only model I got from Seed was the Gaia Waldfeld version, even that wasn’t unique enough for my tastes.

In terms of story and mecha designs, I think OO is large improvement in a long time (compared to V, X, Wing and Seed). I’m sure I’ll piss a lot of ppl off saying that, but honestly thought I sit out on this series too for models. The Cherudim rocks, and now the other ones are growing one me.

Not a fan of the Aheads though, a little too portly; the GN-X/GN-XIII’s are more sleek.

I’ve put gundam series as my fave since iwas little n now, though i hven’t watched this series till the end I always think that this series is the best. Also no need to be confirmed anymore that those gundams in this series are the best among all gundams ever.
