As far I know about the old 1/35 RX-78-2 ver.Ka, that statue was never sold and only stay as a display item. Opened part areas are made possible with it’s size and if Bandai want this GFFixed, it still can be done in 1/100 scale with opened parts. But the gunpla market is over packed with too much RX-78-2s and as for GFF line, shouldn’t Bandai look into somewhere else like other Gundams such as V2, SilhoutteF91 etc and those of PlamoKyoshiro’s? More useless designs from 00MSVs with this Seravee GNHW3G which copied from Gundam X and its G-Bits ideas. Man, Yanase sure can never step out of Katoki’s shadow and it’s obvious that he took this from GFF Gundam X set. Gaga may reminds me of Sebulba from StarWars I but the mech and its pilots are undoubtedly the most useless characters in 00 with their purposes as human missiles. Wouldn’t it be easier to just attach GN warheads instead? Reborns should be renamed as REVERSE instead. As usual, the entire 00 mech group are totally useless and the characters are only useful as eye-candies for homosexual YAOI fags. Much more boring
YF-25 is like a new interpretation of the old VF-1D from the first Macross TV anime and that’s isn’t all that new because Frontier’s all about eye-candies with its starlet casts and a tranny pilot for the fags. Seriously, anime industry in Japan is dropping in standards and dying not just because of low-paid hourly jobs but also due to overemphasized fag services. Just as I predicted, anime in Japan is a sunset industry.

Why are they selling fans lame gunplas? It just doesn’t make senses.
Although I like Nirasawa’s fewture creatures for their details, I tend to find this EX-Gokin Shin Getter-1 bland as I expect it to be a bit more montrous instead of keeping that cylindrical features. There’s no way I’m paying 40k yen for something lower than my expectation and am I disappointed with this EX Gokin.

That Ex Gokin Shin Getter 1 is anything BUT cylindrical, so many shaped plates that sure makes it different from the average cylindrical Getter Robo Unit.
Also, comparing Seravee with Gundam X is laughable, there is a key factor that makes Seravee be different from X, the fact that the “drones” are part of the main unit system and are attached to the very unit itself disguised as extra armor parts of a bulky artillery unit, while X’s G-Bits were plainly separate units that could be controlled with a sub system of X but that doesn’t necesarilly give X complete authority on them, after all, anybody with a Flash System could get a hold of G-Bits with the right programation, D.O.M.E. had his own force of them and later we know that Double X used some itself, Seravee’s drone are units meant to be used only by the Seravee pilot and are under absolute and direct control of the mother unit.
Also i wonder why do they keep going with CE and it’s Astray material? can’t they let it die already? they have 00 for making side stories or MSVs, and considering how badly designed the latest Astray MSVs are compared to the MSVs spawned by both seasons of 00, i rather see more from 00 than from Astray.

I need to start picking them up. Their Temjin was on my list for the longest time, but I haven’t gotten the chance to grab it yet, and the Viper-II was the mech I used the most in the original. And Fei-Yen is always awesome, no matter what C:V thinks.
SEED vs. Astray materials look… horrible, honestly. Shame, since everything else under the Astray name is basically awesome. I don’t expect this line to sell particularly well, unless they pull some really beautiful designs out of nowhere… And I don’t think that’ll happen, given Okawara as the designer (It is Okawara, ja?)… He’s really past his prime.

YF-25 – I only intended to get one version of each of the four main Macross Frontier VF-25’s (and the VF-27, if it ever gets released), but I wouldn’t mind adding this one to my collection.
‘New’ Duel and Providence. I’ve just about got used to the new Strike and Buster. I was hoping the ‘Seed vs Astray’ Duel would resemble Blu Duel from ‘Stargazer’, but I don’t have an opinion on it yet, until we get more pics. What I find unbelievable is the Providence. All they seem to have done is swap the red plastic for the blue and vice versa, and re-arranged it’s weaponry. I’m a long time Seed fan, but I suspect that someone at Bandai is having a laugh.
Anyone care to speculate how the Astray will turn out.
