Arch-nemesis form of rivalry are pretty common in every animations and comics where both protagonist and antagonist engage each other in many episodes to keep the story going on until one goes down. Why American superheroes keep insisting on “No Kill” policy and keep resurrecting dead characters are because rivalries keep the story going on like forever and for as long the story keeps going, sales soar as well. Even Ma’s Storm Rider comics are going on such direction and also other non-aging comic characters like OldMasterQ, Blondie, Garfield etc.

Japanese manga on one hand would eventually kills off characters when time calls for it to create a new path in the story line and allow new characters to rise. As for Gundam, the Amuro-Char rivalry is very much the alpha and omega as their rivalry was first halted in the middle between 0087-0090 as other rivalries such as Kamille-Jerrid and Judau-Haman took place before their little score comes to a bitter end in 0093. The Amuro-Char rivalry was supposed to end with that until they just have to recreate another mask figure such as Carrozzo Ronah the cybernewtype cyborg and Chronicle Asher the BESPA idiot with no mouth (and I think Katejina is very much the real “Char”) So aside from that Gundam face, the Char mask serves to balance both sides in the Gundam franchise? I dunno, both look pretty similiar to some extent and I think monoeyed Zaku provides a much more stronger contrast than some ugly looking mask.

Let’s face it, for as long faggots only pay attentions to pretty faced eyecandies, Gundams and other mechs in Gundam animes can forever stay as props to amplify the characters. Like boyzbands and girlgroups, they can always sell their looks and hips although they suck at singing and lip-sync all the time. Not to forgot all that YAOI bait stashes from 00, Setsuna-Bushido foreplay act anyone?

Really, repetitive mask spam would only keep Gundam just like 30 years ago and how can Bandai call that progress? I seriously don’t think printing your face on Char’s egg head is anything new. Put down Gundam to sleep Bandai, you don’t have anything better than 0079.

Fuck you are obsessed CV, don’t you take the hint that you and your stupid rants aren’t wanted here? How many times have you said the EXACT samething with some really minor change.

Honestly, the only reason you care so much about anything that can be interpreted as “gay” is because you are as well, you make up for this fact by openly fighting it. Seriously, get some fucking therapy.

V Gundam? Doesn’t look appealing to to me. Even the rifle is blue!? Out of my list.

Comment by adamJ

HEY! They forgot to put in the magazine the Masked guy from Victory Gundam! Chronicle was his name right? Kinda wierd they’d forget him and yet remembered to put Neo :p…

Okawara really needs to retire.

@latinking
I thought someone was missing. Wonder why…
So which Char clone is the best? I personally like Harry Ord, as he really became his own character. I liked Zechs half way through Wing, but then he completely went Out-of-character as Milliardo, making me sad about poor character development.
P.S. I thought trolls weren’t allowed on this board anymore. Oh well, not that I ever read anything CV writes anyways…

Comment by InjuredPelican

They added Harry Ord but they forgot Jamil Neate? Incomplete.
