Nice. A gravity hammer, even. @_@

Kotor really should deserved a “Spam King” award with their spammed plamos which reappear more than 4 times on the shelves. Now they made the faggots cry after tricking them into buying 4 Wildwurgers last year. Man, making money is one thing but repeatedly selling the same product each with minor upgrades just way out of hand.

EOTs are just way overpriced compared with Bandai’s HG 1/100 since both are likely the same standard. I would rather get myself a MG Sinanju than this paper tiger.

lol, I would rather get Sinanju over a sh*tload of other models. Awesome design and above all, is-not-another-f*cking-Gundam.

Not dissing on WildWurger or anything, I like the design, but I would never buy a koto “model”, they look like toys made from cheap plastic.

I like what koto does with their models. They DON’T require stickers (if you’re the type who doesn’t paint their models); important parts of the model is already painted in (such as the face). Despite their cheap plastic look, the Gundam models already have that cheap plastic look (for the 1/144 ones anyways).

Although bit over priced, I prefer the SRW OG models over the Gundam ones anytime. I mean, Gundams all look the same and basically do the same thing. Not to mention, the 1/144 models for OG are BIGGER than the 1/144 Gundams (hell, even the Huckebein MK-II is BIGGER than the 1/144 Gundams) Makes me wonder if the Gundam universe people are just midgets or the OG people are giants. 😄

What does height have to do anything with the model/mech, sounds like arbitrary whining =\

I prefer to paint all kotobukiya SRW cheap plastic. So it more like Bandai’s quality.

“I like what koto does with their models. And it require less masking to paint than 144 Bandai’s plamo. Even you don’t paint it, it 95% look same with paint one in instruction/assembly book

I’ve always been curious about koto’s models, honestly I’ve never bought one. I can’t decide which SRW OG will be my first. Secretly, I keep holding out for a transformable Cybaster or R-3 Powered.

According in box pics on hobby search, the kits typically come with a lot of parts. Sure, they’re more $$ than Gundams, but they seem to come with more parts and the mold lines seem better hidden.

I think I’ve been spoiled by all the accessories Gundam kits come with, but the SRW OG do look nice. Does anyone have favorites or recommendations?

@Blue
If you like complicated ones, go for the Alteisen Riese. Its big, red and looks nasty.
Makes your average 1/144 Gundam (excluding the HG 1/144 Sazabi, he’s a monster) puny.

Let’s see now. A GM is supposed to be about 17m tall and a Huckebein Mk III is 22m tall. Does that tell you anything, fucking genius? It’s like saying that a 1/48 F-14 is bigger than a 1/48 F-16.

It’s just not height, it’s the overall size. The Koto’s 1/144 could easily be mistaken for a Gundam 1/100… which is pretty freakin sweet. I only mentioned it because of the last line of the paragraph “Are the OG people giants or are the Gundam Universe people midgets”. O_o;;;

>>BlueAleseides (Folken’s Guymelef?)

From the looks of it, R-3 and a new Cybaster model isn’t coming out for Koto, but we can hope. There is a Cybaster model from someone that does…

Anyway, Kotobukiya’s models are very detailed. I, too, recommending the Alteisen Rieze. I don’t recommend the R-1 1/144, mainly because for $10 more… you can get the R-1 1/100 which is more posable and comes with more stuff.

thanks for the recs everyone 🙂

nice try Nameless, actually my sn is a misspelling of Dilandau’s guymelef. Oh how I would love to see something other than LM abomination of it realized…

But Dilandau’s was red. o_o;;; There was a deleted scene of Folken piloting a Blue one.

That still makes it bigger. 😄
Although flawed is your analogy (because Huckebein and Gundams are SO from the same universe. >_>), thanks for the slightly accurate height (MK-II is 20m). I’ll pretend you were having a bad day.

Comment by Nameless

lol. I never said there wasn’t a red one, did I?
hmmm…after seeing review on ngee’s blog and dalong, I think I’ll start withe Vardant or Hind Kind. Koto seems to be doing a lot better in their model tech.

I wonder what ‘new’ features or details we can expect to see on this 1/100 scale Wildwurger (if any)?
