Comment by amuro0093 February 18, 2009 @ 6:31 pmPeople tend to hate Lacus for being the “Belldandyish” kind of girl and in GSD become some sort of Canon Sue, but truth be told only GSD Lacus is annoying Seed one is fine, one of the few characters in that shithole called CE that actually see people as people and not “Genetical Enchanced Coordinator Monsters” or “Envious Inferior Natural Retards”.
And in Seed she actually shows some struggle and flaws.
Lacus is just part of the victims of what people know as “GSD’s Syndrome” that ruined both old characters and new characters in such a way….it’s just sad, nobody in GSD is really likeable at the end because of this.

I mean for almost half a decade she was the most popular female anime character in a lot of polls. Plus, there have been plenty of female characters in SRW that are way “girlier” than Lacus so your barbie comparison fails. I don’t know about you guys, but to me a chick that’s as cute as a button, can influence the masses with just a song, and can provide you with a virtually unbeatable mobile suit (whether it be helping you steal one or giving you a brand new one after your previous one was destroyed) is all kinds of awesome. One of the most intriguing things about SRW, to me anyway, is that the female characters can hold their own and sometimes outshine the male characters.

Basically an arcade network gameplay which can links up to 20 players pitting against each other in 2 groups of 10, the mecha is just one basic form but you can customize it according the role you choose: Assault, Sniper, Attilery and Support. Like MMORPG Front Mission Online and Quake Arena, teamwork plays an important role in battle and your team’s survival depends on how well each members carry out their roles and supporting each others.
Gameplay wise, very much like Virtual ONs, Quake Arena and Front Mission Online. Nice graphics and effects. Being a long time mecha gamer, I would say this is something new compare to ACs and Gundams but there are many setbacks I found to have me rethink about getting my hand on. The mech is so generic and single that it’s another ScopeDog with different parts and gears like in CommandoVorct’s, where each roles are customized accordingly. Such lack of variety has dampens the game’s environment. The animations are so-so with the mechs floating all the time and lack of realism, I must say even Virtuaroids and Gundams are real and original than these floating copydogs. Gameplay wise is just shallow and repetitive since this is an arcade setting which doesn’t update like MMORPGs.
Compared with Gundam’s Bonds-of-War (which now in PSP) and Virtual-ON titles, I think Sega has just pull another fail gameplay in the market and at this time of global recession, I’m afraid things don’t look bright for Sega…

Those wishing for peace and working for it are also part of War, besides, the War on CE probably was the most pathetic of all the Gundam Wars ever, so much racial hate that actually made any Spacenoid vs Earthnoid conflict, nothing more than a some troublesome disagreement.
Back in Seed, it was refreshing to see people like Lacus, Andy or That Admiral that dies protecting the Archangel, since in general the racial hate was so dominant, that it was tiredsome.
And that kind of people are part of War, since Gundam isn’t just about Wars and guys going “bawwww it’s bad….oh well back to the killing” but people with various ideals fighting on that war sometimes being enemies, sometimes allying with each other, and at the end, trying to overcome the most extremists and genocidal groups for the sake of all the people.

Well, considering that compared to many others here, your posts are made of low quality and many grammar mistakes, and not just “a few typos” but actually some serious badly written phrases, aside insulting people and acting like an intolerant person. I wonder how can you claim others are idiots when your overall post quality is below the average.
And i think i always was clear about my stand with Kira, i’m not a fan of his, i’m more an Amuro fan if you ask me, as much i prefer Kira form Seed than the Kira from GSD, reason why i would prefer a SRW on which the Destiny Ark was faced by Seed’s Kira.
And about SRW K, i don’t have much more to say, i was quite clear on the previous related news, it looks interesting, has many new series and my wish for it, since it has Seed and Seed Destiny, is for Banpresto to not use the GSD version of Kira at all, and just let him remain as his Seed Version, which isn’t exactly the great thing, but at least, one could tolerate that crybaby more than Mistah Godmode.
