They just refuse to stop adding units

That’s never a bad thing, is it?

Though I know I’ll get the game since I am a huge Macross fan, I feel like getting ripped off since the last PSP Macross game was already pretty inclusive in terms of story and units…

MakoNako is going to report Tokyo Game Show 2009.

Before that they have an interesting article on

“The Personality of Yoshiyuki Tomino”

Have a look.

I’d hardly call MAF ‘inclusive’. It was pretty comprehensive when it came to the original series and Plus but not in everything else.

7 was missing all the non-Sound Force mecha (and some of those too), half the Varauta units and anything to do with the supplemental shows.

Zero only got the barest handful of units and no story.

Frontier got a fair spread of units (but no Fast or Armor packs) and only half of its story.

Ultimate Frontier not only adds in all the things I just described Ace Frontier as lacking but throws in Flashback 2012, some content from VF-X2 and M3 and (completely shocking to yours truly) units and story from the entirely non-canonical Macross II. I did not see that one coming at all. And that is why this game is not a ripoff.
